Rodger Ruge is a retired police officer, survivor of complex post-traumatic stress disorder and 30-year mindfulness and resilience practitioner, trainer and coach. Rodger combines all of his 30 years of experience into a coaching program like no other. Because he has served as a police officer for 20 years, and has overcome the challenges of post-traumatic stress, he has a unique window into the empowered actions that help his clients achieve their grandest vision of whom and what they wish to become. Rodger participated in the prestigious California Peace Officer Standards and Training Master Instructor Certification Program (MICC), a year-long program based in all aspects of designing and presenting professional training. One of the many demanding requirements of MICC involves developing a 24-hour law enforcement related training program. Rodger chose to do his program on wellness, focusing on components of nutrition, fitness, mindfulness and resilience. Rodger has facilitated classes for tens of thousands of emergency services personnel and civilian support staff throughout North America.
Rodger has also done extensive self-study since 1993 in mindfulness and resilience practices learning from doctors, monks and monastics, martial arts and chi gong masters and Native American shamans. A life-long learner, Rodger continuously advances subject matter expertise by putting traditional and alternative resilience practices to the test so he can bring his clients the best of the best these wisdom teachings have to offer.
